• The Baker House 1650 is open year round.

  • Reservations and Payments: To confirm reservations at The Baker House 1650, guests are required to furnish an advance deposit of 50% of the cost of the entire reservation (100% for one-night stays). The remaining 50% plus applicable taxes and incidentals is due upon check-out, and must be guaranteed in advance with a valid credit card.

    No-shows, late check-ins and early check-outs are responsible for payment of the entire reservation.

    All reservations are subject to the New York State Sales and Suffolk County Hotel Tax (11.625%).

  • Minimum Stay Requirements: Reservations require a three-night minimum for weekends beginning Memorial Day through September and a two-night minimum for other weekends. Weekend rates apply to minimum stay requirements.

    Holiday reservations requiring a four-night minimum: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Hamptons International Film Festival and Thanksgiving.

    Other holidays requiring a three-night minimum stay: Martin Luther King Birthday, Presidents Day, Columbus Day and New Years Eve.

  • Cancellations Policy: The Baker House 1650 is a small bed and breakfast and we are significantly affected by cancellations. All cancellations are subject to a 10% service charge of the full reservation. If a guest cancels within 30 days of arrival, they will be responsible for the full reservation amount unless we are able to re-book the room (100% occupancy must be achieved in order to be eligible for a refund). All cancellations must be received in writing (fax/email/letter) and acknowledged by us.

  • Arrivals and Departures: Check-in is at 3pm. If you arrive after noon, we will be happy to store your luggage until we check you in at 3pm. Please let the office know if you plan to check in after 10pm. Check-out is at noon. We will store your luggage on the premises but rooms must be vacated by noon. Because of our size, we must be firm on this policy.
