Without a doubt, this time of year is full of excitement, cheer, and anticipation galore. At the Baker House 1650, we are thrilled for all that the Hamptons has in store for us this December. If you are planning a visit to our historic inn and looking for some entertaining events to take part in, read on to learn more!door wreath openDecember 5th - East Hampton Chambers’ Santa ParadeStarting at 10:00 AM, adults and children of all ages can gather at Main Street and Newtown Lane to enjoy the annual Santa Parade, with this year’s theme of Holiday at the Beach. Whether you have a child-like love of all that symbolizes Christmas, or you have little ones eager to see Santa Claus live and in person, this special event is not to be missed! Santa will be saying hello to the children from 11:15 to 12:15 at thePalm located inside the Huntting Inn.December 5thLighting of the Vines at the Wolffer EstateFrom 6-8 PM on Saturday, December 5th, visitors can make their way to the Main Winery to enjoy the heart-warming and festive lighting of the vines event. Fifteen thousand LED lights will be lit across the winter vineyard, which is sure to be magical and stunning from start to finish. While there, you can participate in a silent holiday auction, enjoy festive jazz music, and partake in Wolffer’s own wine, hard cider, and delicious appetizers.December 9th - Holiday Dinner at the Palm RestaurantFor a fee of $110.00, guests can enjoy a festive dinner at the famous Palm Restaurant. Diners will enjoy a special holiday menu, along with classic, authentic, Italian-American dishes like jumbo Nova Scotia lobsters, Veal Martini, and Chicken Parmigiana. Make sure to RSVP by December 1st, by calling Maria Van at 631-324-0362.December 12th -25th Annual Holiday Tour of Inns B & B’s and Special PlacesVisitors can check in at 11:00 AM at the Hunting Inn, where they will be served complimentary cocktails before viewing a wide array of gorgeous properties between 12-4 PM. Our very own Baker House 1650 will be taking part in the B&B tour, so be sure to stop by and say hello to our friendly staff. We look forward to showing you around. To take part in this special event, participants will be asked to pay a fee of $25 and emailmarina@easthamptonchamber.com to make a reservation.December 12th - Holiday Stroll East Hampton VillageIf you are really in the holiday spirit and looking to share your enthusiasm with other members of the community, the Holiday Stroll in East Hampton is a great opportunity to do just that! Guests can attend dressed in full holiday attire, and shops will be serving delicious refreshments. Participants will also be greeted by carolers and Santa as well.The holiday season is extra busy time at the Baker House 1650. Make sure to book your reservation today to ensure you can stay with us during all the upcoming December events. We will be throwing cocktail parties at our inn, which are sure to be a lot of fun.
