It's said that Afternoon Tea was invented in the 1840s by Anna, the 7th Duchess of Bedford. Anna often found herself feeling hungry in the afternoon, so she asked for a pot of tea and a snack to be arranged for her. Over time, she started inviting her friends to join her – and a tradition was born.

30th Annual Event - Celebrating Animal Rescue with ARF Hamptons
Saturday October 7th, 2023
Every year hundreds of ARF supporters gather at Mulford Farm in East Hampton for a festive 2-mile walk to the ocean and back.
The ARF Dog Walk brings our community of animal lovers together in support of the cats and dogs at the ARF Adoption Center. Set amid the historic and beautiful Mulford Farm, the walk leads to Main Beach and back, with activation stations, giveaways, auctions, food, and contests.

Author’s Night at Baker for the East Hampton Library honored Misty Copeland while sharing an intimate setting with guests who learned more behind the scenes about the ballerina turned author slash New York Times Best Seller. Her latest book “Wind at My Back” is a memoir about Copeland’s experience entering the world of dance from an ethnically diverse background and the challenges that come with it.
Today Misty is celebrated as one of Glamour Magazine’s Woman of the Year and Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People to name a few.
