Whether you have a consistent writing practice or you're curious about starting one, come join AllSwell’s founder Laura L. Rubin as she walks us through enjoyable, accessible writing-based activities to get the most out of picking up a pen. She’ll show us how to use mindful journaling to increase creativity, decrease anxiety and combat digital overwhelm.
As part of this immersive experience, Cultivate Apothecary will offer a grounding ritual. Guests will be invited to apply the Awaken Day Serum—a potent blend of farm-grown botanicals—designed to quiet the mind, open the senses, and deepen one’s connection to the natural world. This simple act of self-care sets the tone for the journaling practice, helping to center the spirit and invite clarity, presence, and intention onto the page.
You'll come away with a suite of actionable, accessible ways to help you be more inspired, productive and feel better on a day-to-day basis—mentally, emotionally and physiologically.
Maison Mirabeau wine, light bites, an AllSwell notebook and writing implements will be provided, as well as skincare products from Cultivate Apothecary to take home. Just bring you (and maybe a friend).
Gentle reminders: There's no such thing as being “bad” at journaling so no stress is necessary. You do not have to be a good writer to journal. And nobody will be made to read aloud from the pages of their notebooks, though sharing your experience is welcome. Relax, enjoy.

The Mission
To help people wake up to their own voice, personal path and radical self-worth through creativity. Born from a morning surf check with uninspiring results, Laura sat on the beach and journaled instead. She wrote “Swell or no swell, all’s well” and an idea for a brand was born. She recognized journaling had a bit of a “PR problem” and wanted to invite more people to reap the mental and emotional benefits of putting pen to paper. With a dedication to quality design and environmental sensitivity, Laura introduced the brand with a suite of products to encourage analog expression and grew it to include original live workshops, digital experiences and 1:1 creative coaching.

Each course is paired with Oddbird’s award-winning wines, designed to enhance the essence of the ingredients and the spirit of the occasion.
About Oddbird
Oddbird is an award-winning wine house founded by Moa Gürbüzer, offering a new perspective on how we drink, gather, and celebrate. Sourcing from some of Europe’s most storied regions, each bottle is crafted with traditional winemaking methods – aged in oak barrels and guided by terroir – and then gently liberated from alcohol to preserve the full depth and character of the wine. The result is a collection of layered, expressive wines that pair beautifully with food and moments alike.
